Caplugs HU Series parts are designed to protect the machined threads and sealing surfaces of Hammer Union Joint connections. The wing nut together with the male and female subs form the connection. Typically used for temporary pipe and flow line installations, Hammer Unions (aka- Wing Unions) are commonly found at well rig sites in the oil & gas industry. They are also used in chemical plants, vacuum trucks, pump trucks and marine dredging equipment.

They are manufactured of a material that offers a high level of durability and impact resistance, but at a more economical cost than traditional covers. Designed to be installed and removed more quickly than standard hammer union covers, saving you valuable time in the field.
