Polyco Anti Vibration Gloves

Polyco Anti Vibration Gloves are designed to reduce the amount of vibration and shock that a person’s hands may experience when using power tools or other equipment that vibrates.

These gloves typically have padding, or other materials built into them that help to absorb and dissipate the vibrations, making them less harmful to the hands and reducing the risk of injury.

Some anti-vibration gloves also provide additional features such as grip enhancements, cut resistance, and thermal insulation to improve the comfort and safety of the user.

BSEN388 – Mechanical Hazard

Mechanical Hazards are associated with the handling of rough or sharp objects which could abrade, cut or pierce the skin, such as glass, thin metal sheet and masonry blocks.

A mechanical hazard is not associated with moving machinery, in fact it can be extremely dangerous to wear gloves which could catch in moving parts or serrated blades*.

*Note – Gloves should not be used when working with serrated blades. USE GUARDS.

X = Abrasion  (Performance Index 1-4)
3 = Blade Cut  (Performance Index 1-5)
4 = Tear  (Performance Index 1-4)
3 = Puncture  (Performance Index 1-4)
