The Weld Stud Test Tools is designed for use during the production of sheet metal products to test the strength and integrity of welds used to attach threaded welding studs to the sheet metal.
A simple way to test the shear torque of weld studs. Apply a straight pull of the Weld Stud Test Tool wench (no side load). When the wrench breaks-over and the weld stud is still attached then it passed. If the weld stud breaks off – then it failed.

The preferred and certified ranges of these tools is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 6789 (+/- 6% of indicated setting)
Note: In order to set preset the torque value with the WSTT, a torque analyzer and setting adapter is required.
